The world in general, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in particular, is witnessing great interest in the developments of artificial intelligence systems and the employment of its applications in various sectors, especially the medical sector. From this standpoint, the University of Hail is keen to be effective in this direction, through its academic programs and scientific conferences, to be a vital partner in achieving the directions and objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and keeping pace with all its paths. In the field of medical sciences, artificial intelligence helps to provide safe health care, improve the patient experience in the field of care, manage data for medical services, develop smart solutions in the field of applied medical sciences, employ emerging technologies in auditing and accelerating diagnostic processes, enable early detection of diseases, propose preventive and treatment plans, obtain updates, analyzes and automatically generated medical reports, in addition to reducing medical costs. 

In light of this, this international conference “Artificial Intelligence in Medical Sciences” will be held during the period (9-11 December 2024), on the use of artificial intelligence tools and applications in the development of health care by monitoring its reality, evaluating its data, and presenting visions about its future, through research, development and innovation based on artificial intelligence applications, in addition to presenting future visions on artificial intelligence governance in the medical sector and managing health care services. The convening of this conference comes in light of the great support given by our wise leadership to university education in general, and the University of Hail in particular, and on this occasion I have the honor to extend my deepest thanks and gratitude to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. I also extend my deepest thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Hail Region, and thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Hail Region, for the great support that the university finds in all its activities, functions and objectives. As well as many thanks to His Excellency Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, Minister of Education, for his efforts to enhance the role of universities in achieving Saudi Vision 2030 and upgrading the university education system to achieve distinguished international scientific centers.
